Steyn and Ntini thwart West Indies recovery January 02, 2008 22:17 IST West Indies, who won the toss and chose to bat despite cloudy overhead conditions, were 240 for eight at stumps.
Steyn took 4-60 and Ntini claimed 2-63 to undo much of what Marlon Samuels and Shivnarine Chanderpaul [Images] accomplished in a stand of 106 after West Indies had slumped to 77 for 3 before lunch.
