Gloster to quit after tri-series: BCCI

February 14, 2008 10:57 IST

Indian team physiotherapist John Gloster will not continue in his post after the tri-series one-day international in Australia, the BCCI said on Thursday.

"Gloster does not want to continue. He has expressed his desire to quit. He has informed the board regarding this," BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said.

Shah said theĀ Board will look for a new physio for the home series against South Africa in March-April.

Gloster joined the Indian team in February 2005 when he replaced Andrew Leipus after working with the Bangladesh team for four years.
