Tendulkar ruled out of Sri Lanka ODIs

Sachin Tendulkar [Images] has been ruled out of the forthcoming one-day series in Sri Lanka [Images] after injuring his elbow during theĀ  third Test in Colombo.

Chennai's Subramaniam Badrinath will replace him in the 16-man squad for the five-match series, beginning on August 18.

Tendulkar injured his elbow while attempting to take a catch off Chaminda Vaas [Images] during the ongoing third Test in Colombo, following which he spent a lot of time off the field and also batted lower in the order.
