Collingwood quits as England one-day captain August 03, 2008 18:30 IST Paul Collingwood [Images] has stepped down as England's [Images] one-day captain, the ECB said on Sunday. "Paul Collingwood has informed the selectors he will be standing down as England's one-day captain," Hugh Morris, managing director of the England team, told a news conference. Earlier, Michael Vaughan [Images] also announced his decision to step down as England Test captain in the wake of the series defeat by South Africa [Images].
