Harish Kotian in Kolkata | November 30, 2007 08:55 IST
India captain Anil Kumble [Images] won the toss and elected to bat in the second Test against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday.
India retained the team that won the first Test by six wickets.
Younis Khan will lead the team for the Test.
The good news for Pakistan was that the pace duo of Shoaib Akhtar [Images] and Mohammad Sami [Images] were declared fit. The two fast bowlers were down with chest infection for the last few days and had no practice in the run-up to the match.
India lead the three-match series 1-0 after their victory in Delhi.
