13 uncapped players in Bangladesh Twenty-20 shortlist

Bangladesh included 13 uncapped players in a 30-man provisional squad named on Wednesday for the first world Twenty20 tournament in South Africa this September.

The provisional squad will be trimmed to 15 by Aug. 11.

"We have included a number of young cricketers in the provisional squad, to give them a break if they can prove their worth," said chief selector Faruk Ahmed.

Squad: Mohammad Ashraful [Images], Aftab Ahmed, Shahriar Nafees, Tamim Iqbal, Tushar Imran, Saqibul Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza [Images], Farhad Reza, Mohammad Sharif, Tapash Baishya, Alok Kapali, Mohammad Rafique, Mahmudullah Riad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Abdur Razzak, Junaid Siddiqui, Jahirul Islam, Nazmus Sadat, Nazimuddin, Nadif Chowdhury, Sorwardy Shuvo, Syed Rasel, Naim Islam, Dhiman Ghose, Shahadat Hossain, Dollar Mahmud, Mohammad Shahzada, Ziaur Rahman, Milon, Gazi Salahuddin.
