Bowler's day out December 09, 2007 21:04 IST Andhra fought back after being dismissed for 159 in the Ranji Trophy Super League match against Hyderabad taking five wickets on the opening day in Hyderabad on Sunday. Hyderabad were reduced to 52 for five at close. Electing to bat, Andhra lost wickets of LNP Reddy (0), ASK Varma (1) and captain MSK Prasad (6) quickly. Opener HH Watekar (38), Y Gnaneswara Rao (42), AG Pradeep (22) and B Sumanth (25) were the only batsmen to make a decent score. However, the Hyderabad innings too failed to take off with Andhra bowler P Vijay Kumar claiming the wickets of promising batsmen Daniel Manohar (7), DB Ravi Teja [Images] (0) and S Anoop Pai (0). Captain Arjun Yadav and A Shinde, who scored 15 and 12 respectively, were at the crease when stumps were drawn.
