India, who lead the series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Delhi by six wickets, made four changes to the team that played the drawn second Test in Kolkata after injury ruled out batsman Sachin Tendulkar [Images], wicketkeeper Mahendra Dhoni [Images] and pace bowlers Zaheer Khan [Images] and Munaf Patel [Images].

Batsmen Gautam Gambhir [Images] and Yuvraj Singh [Images] and bowlers Irfan Pathan [Images] and Ishant Sharma were named in the side.
