Rajasthan earn three points against Karnataka December 04, 2007 20:00 IST Rajasthan earned three points by virtue of its 64-run first innings lead over Karnataka in their Ranji Trophy Elite "A" Group match that ended in a draw in Mysore on Tuesday. Rajasthan, which had scored 393 runs in the first innings, was bundled out for 133 runs in 75 overs in their second innings on the final day. Vineet Saxena, who hit 37, was the top scorer for the visitors. Sunil Joshi scalped four wickets while Appanna and C Raghu took two each. Needing 198 for an outright win, Karnataka finished at 153 for 2 in 22 overs, losing openers Pawan (5) and Robin Uthappa (54), who was caught by Robin Bishit off Mohd Aslam's bowling. Sudhindra Shinde and Akhil remained unbeaten on 50 and 42 respectively. Rajasthan now has three points after losing all three matches it had played earlier. Karnataka, which has nine points, will meet Saurashtra in their next encounter to be played in Mysore from December 9.
