Rajasthan gains first innings lead over Karnataka December 03, 2007 20:29 IST Mohammad Aslam and Shamsher Singh grabbed four wickets each as Rajasthan dismissed Karnataka for 329 and gained a first innings lead of 64 runs on the penultimate day of the four-day Ranji Trophy Elite Group 'A' match in Mysore on Monday. The visitors had made 393 in their first knock. Resuming at their overnight score of 118 for three, the hosts lost wickets at regular intervals and were struggling at 208 for nine. But a 121-run stand for the last wicket between skipper Yere Goud and NC Aiyappa (24) helped them cross the three-hundred mark. Goud hit 15 fours and remained unbeaten on 110. Rajasthan were yet to open their account in their second innings at close.
