India moved up two places to third in the LG International Cricket Council's Test rankings following their series win in England [Images].
India won the three-match series 1-0 after the final Test at The Oval was drawn on Monday.
Rahul Dravid's [Images] side drew the opening Test at Lord's and won by seven wickets at Trent Bridge.
They became the first India team to win a Test series in England for 21 years, emulating Kapil Dev's [Images] side in 1986.
England, who lost a first series at home since 2001, maintained second place behind Australia.
