Kaif, Raina for Sialkot match

The match between Ranji champions Uttar Pradesh and Pakistan's national championship winners Sialkot promises to be a star-studded affair with Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina and R P Singh confirmed to take the field against the likes of speedster Naved-ul Hasan.

The four-day match for the Mohd Nissar Trophy would decide who is the better of the two domestic champions.

Anurag Thakur, President of HPCA, the host cricket association, said preparations were on in full swing for the September 27 to 30 outing here in this hill resort.

The Pakistani team will reach here on September 25 through the Wagah border and both the teams will have a practice session on September 26.

The Pakistani team will be stationed at McLeodganj.

BCCI President Sharad Pawar is also expected to visit Dharamsala during the match.

According to curator Daljit Singh, a fast green top wicket would be prepared for the match.
