No final date has been set for Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul Haq's hearing, the International Cricket Council said on Wednesday.
"It has been agreed that the hearing will be in the last week of September but a date is yet to finalised," ICC [Images] Chief Executive Malcolm Speed [Images] said at a press conference in Delhi on Wednesday.
Inzamam was charged with ball tampering and bringing the game to disrepute after the forfeited fourth and final Test against England [Images] last month.
A guilty verdict could result in a ban of up to eight one-dayer internationals or four Tests.
Speed said the ICC's lawyers and the Pakistan Cricket Board are discussing a date suitable for both parties.
"We should be able to come out with a date in a day or two," he said.
