Baroda claimed two points when they dismissed Services for 388 in the first innings in their drawn Ranji Trophy Elite Group B match at the Palam Stadium in Delhi on Friday.

Chasing 449 for four declared, Services resumed at 194 for three but collapsed 61 runs short of Baroda's score.

At close on the final day, Baroda were 35 for no loss in 12 overs in their second innings. Connor Williams and K R Powar were undefeated on 14 and 16 respectively.

Jasvir Singh, who top scored with 67, could add only four runs to his overnight score today before being bowled by I S Pathan, who also removed the other overnight batsman Sarabjit Singh (46), claiming three for 66.

Ashish Mohanty (28), S Upadhaya (37) and A Sharma (0) made quick exits in the space of less than 10 overs.

Amrinder Singh (37) and F Mohammed (28) stretched the innings while H Naidu contributed a useful 17 to the total.

Earlier on day three, opener M P Reddy gave a good start to the Services team by scoring 51 runs.

Spinner Rajesh Pawar also picked three wickets at the expense of 72 runs for Baroda.

Services, who have not scored any points so far in the six rounds, play their last league match against Haryana, who have six points.
