Not worried about bouncy pitches: Dhoni

January 03, 2006 21:02 IST

Wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Tuesday said Team India is all set to put up a brave fight against arch rival Pakistan in the forthcoming tour.

Crowned as the brand ambassador for the state-owned Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited -- makers of the famous Mysore Sandal Soap -- Dhoni said, "They have won 11 matches in a row and performed well in the recent days."

But India also had a morale boosting good run against Sri Lanka and is well prepared to take the challenge on Pakistan soil, he added.

The team is also geared up to face bouncy pitches, he said. ''We will not be worried if Pakistan prepares bouncy pitches.''

Asked about express pacer Shoaib Akthar, Dhoni said the team will not be worried about any one player. It will rather focus on the entire team and face them.

To another question, he said, "I will try to give 100 per cent when I am on the field and it is difficult to predict anything in the game of cricket."
