India suffered a huge blow ahead of the Test series against England, with the in-form Yuvraj Singh being ruled out of the first Test against England, starting in Nagpur on March 1.

Yuvraj, who sustained a hamstring strain during his match-winning unbeaten 107 in the last one-dayer against Pakistan in Karachi, will need some more time to regain fitness.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who could not take part in the one-day series against Pakistan, will be available for selection, Board secretary Niranjan Shah said in Delhi on Tuesday.

He also said a decision on Virender Sehwag's availability for the first Test will be taken on Wednesday.

Sehwag had suffered a shoulder injury and returned home along with Harbhajan Singh midway through the one-day series.
