Sensational Indian wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] has broken into top ten of world one-day batting ratings after his whirlwind 46-ball 72 in the Lahore [Images] one-dayer against Pakistan on Monday.

The Jharkhand player, who has collected 1,000 runs from 33 one-dayers at an average of nearly 50, has jumped to eighth in the LG ICC [Images] ODI ratings which also saw Sachin Tendulkar [Images] and Yuvraj Singh [Images] make big moves on the charts.

While Tendulkar has climbed 11 places to reclaim tenth spot, Yuvraj, like Dhoni, has reached a new personal best rating, climbing 10 places to 15th.

For the first time in the history of the rankings, four players from one country -- Australia -- occupy the top four slots.

This Australian quartet is led by Adam Gilchrist [Images] (813 points) with skipper Ricky Ponting [Images] in second, Andrew Symonds [Images] third and Michael Clarke [Images] fourth.

Both Symonds and Clarke have their highest ever ratings and the picture of Australian batting dominance is completed by the presence of Michael Hussey -- who has also hit a record high in the ratings -- in seventh place.

However, Australia's grip on the upper echelons of the ODI bowling rankings is not quite so strong. They boast two of the top three ODI bowlers but Brett Lee's [Images] brief reign at the summit of the standings is over after he failed to take a wicket in the three VB series finals.

Lee has slipped to second place behind South Africa's Shaun Pollock [Images] with Glenn McGrath third and India's Irfan Pathan [Images] up to fourth.
