Harbhajan doubtful for third ODI

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh [Images] remained doubtful for the day-night limited overs international against Pakistan at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore [Images] on Monday although the injured index finger in his bowling hand has improved, a team official said on Sunday.

"Harbhajan Singh's injured finger has improved, but the team management does not want to take a chance," said team's media director G S Walia in Lahore.

The injury kept the offie out of the first ODI at Peshawar on Feb 6 and the second tie at Rawalpindi yesterday as well.

He was not picked in the third and deciding Test of the series at Karachi that ended on Feb 2.

He last played in the drawn second Test at Faisalabad. He was seen taking high catches during the innings break yesterday at Rawalpindi during the second ODI.

Ramesh Powar [Images], summoned by the tour selection committee as a cover for Harbhajan, was named as the Super Sub but did not bowl or bat.
