Warne, McGrath to retire after Ashes December 20, 2006 13:48 IST Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne is set to announce his retirement from international cricket, television reports said on Wednesday. Warne, who has set sights on an Ashes whitewash and a 700th Test wicket in front of his home crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground next week, will announce his retirement on Thursday, Nine Network reported. Fast bowler Glenn McGrath is also expected to follow suit. It is expected that the two veteran bowlers would call its quits after the fourth Test in Sydney.
