Australia [Images] fast bowler Brett Lee [Images] was reported for excessive appealing in the second Ashes Test against England [Images] at Adelaide Oval.

Lee was cited by New Zealand [Images] match referee Jeff Crowe after celebrating what he thought was the wicket of England batsman Kevin Pietersen [Images] early on day two.

West Indian umpire Steve Bucknor [Images] rejected the Australian team's appeal for catch by wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist [Images].

Lee was ordered to appear at a judicial hearing either on Sunday or Monday and faces a fine if found guilty.
