No room for More at team hotel

Selection Committee Chairman Kiran More and his co-selectors V B Chandrasekhar and Bhupinder Singh Sr had to seek alternative accommodation in Margao on Saturday after being turned away from the team hotel.

The plush Taj Exotica hotel cited lack of rooms for not being able to accommodate them.

Both England [Images] and India cricket teams, who arrived here today ahead of the third one-dayer on Monday, are staying at this resort in nearby Benaulim.

"We have been told there's no room booked for us here and we are moving out to another hotel," More said.

40 rooms have been booked for the two teams, according to sources.
