The Jagmohan Dalmiya group on Friday raised suspicion about who is funding the travel and accommodation of the three observers appointed by the Kolkata high court.

It is said the group wanted to know how the group reached the Taj Bengal Hotel in Kolkata without the BCCI's knowledge and who is funding them?

Members of the anti-Dalmiya group say this move might boomerang for the Dalmiya group in the Annual General Meeting.

Regarding an e-mail that coach Greg Chappell [Images] allegedly wrote to the board regarding Sourav Ganguly's [Images] mental and physical fitness, BCCI vice-president Ashish Shukla said: "This is all in the realm of speculation. But if there is anything in the email, the Board's disciplinary committee will take action."

Addressing a press conference, Dalmiya said he never questioned the integrity of the observers, since they are legal luminaries, but said he wanted to know how they landed in Kolkata without the knowledge of the Board.
