Michael Vaughan's [Images] England [Images] are set to play three Tests and seven one-day internationals on their tour of India early next year after the two cricket boards agreed on a tentative itinerary today.

England will arrive on February 20, 2006, on a 60-day tour during which they will also play two three-day warm up matches, Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary S K Nair told PTI.

The three Tests are set to be played between March 8 and 29 while the seven-match limited overs series, preceded by a warm up one-dayer, will be held between April 4 and 22.

However, the dates have not been confirmed as yet, Nair said.

The itinerary will be decided by the new Tours, Programmes and Fixtures Committee, to be elected during the Board's Annual General Body Meeting later this month in Kolkata, he said.

The new committee will also decide on the venues for the three Tests against Sri Lanka [Images], dates of which are December 2-6, December 10-14 and Decemeber 18-22.

The dates and venues for the one-day internationals against South Africa and Sri Lanka would be confirmed by the incumbent office bearers who will meet in Mumbai on September 6, Nair said.

Sri Lanka are to play seven one-dayers between October 25 and November 12 before they return for the three Tests in December.

The five ODIs against South Africa are to be played between November 16 and 28.
