Inzamam-ul-Haq [Images] on Thursday scored his 24th Test hundred on the final day of the second Test against England [Images] to set a new record for most Test centuries by a Pakistani batsman.
He had equalled former captain Javed Miandad's record of 23 Test hundreds in the first innings of the Test when he scored 109 runs. He has now scored 7,955 runs in 104 Tests and has also got 10,971 runs in 347 one-day internationals.
Inzamam's scores of 109 and 100 not out in the Test is also only the second instance of a Pakistani scoring two centuries in the same match against England and the fifth time overall by a Pakistani batsman.
