Haryana entered the Ranji Trophy Plate final by virtue of their first innings lead over Jharkhand after bad weather washed out play on the last two days of the semifinal at Chandigarh.

Though wickets were not damaged, heavy rainfall on Monday had made the outfield wet forcing the umpires to call off play on the fifth and final day.

Haryana, who made 543 in their first innings before bowling out rivals for 308, were 26 for no loss in their second innings at stumps on the third day.

The match was declared drawn.

Haryana, who took a 145 run first innings lead, will play Services in the final starting on March 30.

Services were declared winner against Himachal by the spin of coin in the other semi-final which was also affected by inclement weather in Dharamsala.

Play was abandoned on first, fourth and fifth days while only seven overs could be bowled on the second day and 20 overs during post tea session on the third day.
