Rahul Dravid [Images] on Saturday became only the second Indian after Sunil Gavaskar [Images] to score century in each innings of a Test on more than one occasion.

Dravid had also performed the similar feat against New Zealand [Images] at Hamilton in 1998-99. Overall, it was the sixth such instance for India.

It was the second instance for India and seventh overall when a batsman scored centuries in each innings of a Test against Pakistan.

On a curious note, out of the 17 previous Tests in which Dravid has scored a century, India have lost only one Test. Seven of Dravid's centuries were for the winning cause, while ten centuries (in nine Tests) came in drawn affairs.

One more interesting point. Dravid has now aggregated 7658 runs in his Test career. His tally is the highest for any Indian batsman after exactly 88 Tests. The previous record was of 7585 runs held by Sunil Gavaskar.

Infact, in all Tests, only one batsman -- West Indies' [Images] Gary Sobers -- has aggregated more runs than Dravid after exactly 88 Tests.
