Indian seamer Irfan Pathan put behind injury fears and took the field for Middlesex in the four-day Frizzell County Championship Division One, 2005 match against Glamorgan in London on Wednesday.

Pathan, who sustained shoulder injury during the team's last match against Surrey, however failed to give his team the necessary breakthrough in his first 12 overs as Glamorgan made a solid start.

Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly, off spinner Harbhajan Singh and Dinesh Mongia were also representing their respective counties in the four-day matches, which began on Wednesday.
