All-rounder Abdul Razzaq [Images] has replaced Pakistan team mate Shoaib Akthar in the Asian XI for Monday's charity game against a Rest of the World XI, the International Cricket Council (ICC [Images]) said on Friday.

A hamstring injury forced pace bowler Shoaib to withdraw from the Melbourne Cricket Ground match, which will raise money for victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami.

Leading players from Australia, England [Images], New Zealand [Images] and the West Indies [Images] will represent the Rest of the World XI against the Asian team, which includes players from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka [Images].

Australia's Ricky Ponting [Images] will captain the Rest of the World team against India captain Saurav Ganguly's [Images] Asian side.

Hampered by Shoaib's injury in the third Test, Pakistan were beaten 3-0 by Australia in the three-match series which ended in Sydney earlier this week.

Australia will host Pakistan and West Indies in a triangular one-day series starting in Melbourne on January 14.
