Andhra gives a strong reply to Haryana December 26, 2005 20:33 IST Andhra skipper Y Venugopala Rao and former Test star MSK Prasad lived up to their reputation by guiding Andhra to 192 for 4 after wrapping up Haryana for 206 on the second day of the Elite Group 'B' Ranji Trophy match in Ananthapur on Monday. Prasad played with a good blend of caution and aggression after he lost his opening partner BBK Singh for a naught and went on to gather 79 runs in a space of 223 balls and picked five fours. After Kumara Swamy was dismissed for 30, Prasad was joined by skipper Y Venugopala Rao and the duo added 115 for the third wicket before Sachin Rana dismissed Prasad through Mahesh Rawat for 79. Venugopla Rao did not last long as he went down quickly after Prasad's departure for a well-made 70 with nine hits to the fence with Joginder Sharma claiming his wicket through Mahesh Rawat.
