Haryana, Punjab in tame draw December 04, 2005 19:54 IST Haryana earned two points from their drawn match against hosts Punjab on the fourth day of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group 'B' match at the PCA stadium in Mohali on Sunday. Resuming at the overnight score of 332 for eight, Haryana were all out for 383 in the second innings, after the addition of 51 runs, losing overnight batsmen Munish Rawat and Amit Mishra. Having taken a first innings lead of eight runs, Haryana set Punjab a target of 392 for victory. Chasing 392, Punjab, aided by an unbeaten 116 by Dinesh Mongia, were 206 for three at close of play on the last day. Punjab scored 224 in their first innings in reply to Haryana's total of 232 all out.
