Zee chairman lodges complaint against Dalmiya

September 29, 2004 11:53 IST

The chairman of Zee Telefilms Ltd. Subhash Chandra lodged a complaint against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chairman Jagmohan Dalmiya in Mumbai, alleging that the latter had threatened him on telephone of causing harm to his life in connection with the ongoing spat between Zee network and BCCI over the cricket telecast rights issue.

An aide of Subhash Chandra lodged a complaint in this regard at the Cuffe Parade police station last night and the matter is being investigated by the police, police sources said on Tuesday.

"We have received Subhash Chandra's complaint through his secretary last night but we have not registered any case against anybody since we are probing the matter," DCP Naval Bajaj said.
