Ganguly ruled out of third Test

India captain Sourav Ganguly was ruled out of the third Test against Australia starting in Nagpur on Tuesday after being diagnosed with a thigh strain.

Vice-captain Rahul Dravid will lead the team in his place.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will also not play as he is down with a viral fever.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat against India in the third Test on Tuesday.

Australia, seeking their first Test series win in India since 1969, lead the four-match series 1-0.
