India captain Sourav Ganguly and his South African counterpart Graeme Smith unveiled the 'Videocon Cup', which will be presented to the winner of the two-Test series, on Friday.

Ganguly and Smith jointly held aloft the glittering trophy and posed for photographs as hordes of lensmen captured the brief ceremony at the Green Park stadium, in Kanpur, the venue of the first Test, beginning on Saturday.

The Cup, 16 inches in height and seven inches wide, is designed by Swarovski, the world's leading manufacturer of cut crystal.

The trophy is embellished with xilion -- the next generation of crystal brilliance, highlighting the very essence of the game with its sharp edges and brilliant nuances.

Videocon is the title sponsor of the series.
