Taibu gets a world record

Zimbabwe wicketkeeper and captain Tatenda Taibu got a world record on his name in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Bulawayo. 

Taibu did not concede a single bye in Sri Lanka's mammoth total of 713 for 3 declared. This, now, is the highest total in Tests without containing any bye in the extras column.

The previous record was held by Sri Lanka's Hashan Tillakaratne who did not let a single bye during New Zealand's total of 671 for four at Wellington in 1990-91.
