West Indies hit a new low

Rajneesh Gupta | March 15, 2004

The West Indies were routed for a paltry 47 in their second innings in the first Test against England at Kingston, Jamaica. Fast bowler Stephen Harmison, with figures of 7 for 12, just ran through West Indies batting line-up. This total is the West Indies' lowest total in Test cricket and also the joint tenth lowest total in Test history. The Windies' previous lowest was 51 against Australia at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, in 1998-99.
