Bangalore to host first India-Aus Test

Bangalore will host the first Test between India and Australia, beginning on October 6, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Monday.

The Aussies will begin their tour of the country with a three-day match at Hyderabad from September 30.

Their other Tests will be at Chennai (October 14 to 18), Nagpur (October 26 to 30) and Mumbai (November 3 to 7).

The BCCI also announced the schedule for South Africa's two-Test series in November.

Kanpur will host the first Test from November 20 to 24 while Kolkata will be the venue for the second Test, from November 28 to December 2.

South Africa's tour of India will begin with a three-day match at Jaipur on November 14.
