Bucknor will officiate in Pakistan

The International Cricket Council has named umpires David Shepherd, Simon Taufel, Rudi Koertzen and Steve Bucknor to officiate in the upcoming one-day and Test series between India and Pakistan.

England's Shepherd and Australia's Taufel will stand in the five-match one-day series along with a local umpire.

Bucknor of West Indies and South African Koertzen would join the duo in the three-match Test series.

The names of the local umpires would be declared soon, a Pakistan Cricket Board release added.

The list of umpires to officiate in the series:

March 13: 1st ODI, Karachi (David Shepherd and local umpire)

March 16: 2nd ODI, Rawalpindi (Simon Taufel and local umpire)

March 19: 3rd ODI, Peshawar (David Shepherd and local umpire)

March 21: 4th ODI, Lahore (Simon Taufel and local umpire)

March 24: 5th ODI, Lahore (David Shepherd and local umpire)

March 28-April 1: 1st Test, Multan (David Shepherd and Simon Taufel)

April 5-9: 2nd Test, Lahore (Simon Taufel and Steve Bucknor)

April 13-17: 3rd Test, Rawalpindi (Rudi Koertzen and David Shepherd).
