Afridi to lead Pakistan 'A' to India

All rounder Shahid Afridi will lead the Pakistan A team to India next month for a triangular one-day tournament in Calcutta.

Afridi, out of favour with the national selectors since being dropped after the World Cup, will captain a 14-man squad for the December 13-21 tournament also involving India and Sri Lanka.

The selectors have included several current test players in the A squad including Imran Nazir, Mohammad Hafeez, Faisal Iqbal, Naved Latif and Umar Gul.

Pakistan A squad:

Shahid Afridi (captain), Salman Butt, Mohammad Hafeez, Saeed bin Nasir, Naved Latif, Amin-ur-Rehman (wicketkeeper), Umar Gul, Mohammad Khalil, Mohammad Irshad, Mansoor Amjad, Faisal Iqbal, Bilal Asad, Imran Nazir and Abdul Rauf.
