Wright so far...

"Incorporating the pride of playing for the country will be my prime agenda," said India coach John Wright after his first session with the team in November 2000.

Two years have passed since that eventful day.

For the first time, the cricket team was being coached by a foreigner and there were detractors. But as time passed, Wright successfully overcame every hurdle in his way and made India a competitive team.

On the occassion of his 49th birthday, we look back at his years with the team.
