 Rahul Dravid needs 386 runs to aggregate 4000 runs in 'away' Tests.

 Dravid needs 286 runs to complete his 15,000 runs in first class cricket

 Sourav Ganguly needs 122 runs to complete his 2000 Test runs as India's captain

 Steve Waugh needs 49 runs to complete his 1,000 runs in Test matches against India

 Waugh needs one fifty to complete his fifty of fifties (excluding centuries)

 Waugh needs 143 runs to complete his 1,000 runs in this calendar year

 Waugh needs 173 runs to become the leading run-scorer on Australian soil.

 Waugh needs 212 runs to complete his 11,000 Test runs

 Stuart MacGill needs one wicket to complete his 500 wickets in first class cricket.

 MacGill needs 9 wickets to complete his 150 wickets

 Brett Lee needs 19 wickets to complete his 150 wickets

 Steve Waugh needs 9 wickets to complete his 100 wickets

 Zaheer Khan needs 18 wickets to complete his 100 wickets

 Ashish Nehra needs 9 wickets to complete his 50 wickets

 Anil Kumble needs one wicket to become leading Indian spinner in 'away' Tests beating Bishan Singh Bedi's tally of 128 wickets.

Fielding & Wicketkeeping :

 Adam Gilchrist needs 13 dismissals to complete his 600 dismissals in first class cricket

 Gilchrist needs six dismissals to complete 50 dismissals in Test matches in this calendar year

 Rahul Dravid needs 7 catches to complete his 100 catches in Test cricket

 Ricky Ponting needs 12 catches to complete his 100 catches in Test cricket

 Justin Langer needs 6  catches to complete his 50 catches in Test cricket

General :

 Adam Gilchrist's 50 Tests (He has played in 49 Tests so far)

 Matthew Hayden's 50 Tests (He has played in 48 Tests so far)

 VVS Laxman's 50 Tests (He has played in 48 Test so far)

 Dravid will extend his record of not recording a duck in last 66 innings (and 38 Tests)

 A Test win for Ganguly will make him the most successful Indian captain taking him ahead of Mohammad Azharuddin's tally of 14 Test wins

 A Man-of-the-Match award will be tenth for Tendulkar. He will become first Indian to do so
