Hayden 9th out on 99 against India

Matthew Hayden missed his hundred by the narrowest of margins in Australia's second innings of the Brisbane Test. He thus became the 17th Australian (on the 18th occasion) to miss his hundred by one run.

Hayden also provided the ninth instance of a batsman getting dismissed on 99 against India.
