Answer 3:
Sunil Gavaskar, with 108 catches in 125 Test matches, is the most successful Indian fielder in terms of most catches. However, in terms of frequency of catches, Eknath Solkar is the best with 53 catches in 27 Tests, which gives him a frequency percentage of 1.96 per match - the best by any fielder in Test cricket history with over 15 career catches.

Question: How many batsman have scored a century on debut in a one-day interantionals? As far as I know it's Desmond Haynes and Manzoor Elahi. Is there any body else?

Answer 4:
In all, five batsmen have scored an ODI hundred on debut (see list below), with Shahid Afridi doing so in his second match (he did not get to bat in his debut match). Also note that the first Pakistani to do so is Salim Elahi and not Manzoor Elahi.

Question: Which team has recorded extreme batting performances (big score in one innings and a batting collapse in the other) in two completed Test innings?

Pakistan, against West Indies at Bridgetown in January 1958, were dismissed for 106 in the first innings, made 657-8 in the second, after being made to follow-on. It was during this innings that Hanif Mohammad made 337 in 970 minutes! Incidentally the disparity of scores in both innings is 551 runs -- the greatest in Test cricket history.
