Chanderpaul, Jacobs back in Windies squad

The West Indies named their 14-man squad for the third Test against Australia, starting on Thursday in Barbados.

Batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul and wicketkeeper Ridley Jacobs return after missing the second Test through injury. Opener Wavell Hinds has been dropped.

The West Indies trail the four-match series 2-0 after losing the first two Tests in Guyana and Trinidad.

The squad:

Brian Lara (captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (vice-captain), Omari Banks, Carlton Baugh, Tino Best, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Mervyn Dillon, Vasbert Drakes, Daren Ganga, Chris Gayle, Ridley Jacobs, Jermaine Lawson, Marlon Samuels, Devon Smith.
