Harbhajan, Robin Singh in ODI team

Faisal Shariff

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and all-rounder Robin Singh have been named in the 14-member Indian squad for the one-day series against Australia starting next Sunday.

Harbhajan has so far put up an impressive performance against the Aussies, claiming 18 wickets, including a hat-trick.

"Australia has a lot of left-handers. We hope Harbhajan should be able to come good," chief selector Chandu Borde said after naming the squad.

Robin Singh, India's only specialist one-day player, makes a return after he was dropped for the five-match series against Zimbabwe in December last year.

Speedster Javagal Srinath and Dinesh Mongia also find a place in the team, but left-hander Yuvraj Singh has been left out.

The Team:Sourav Ganguly (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Hemang Badani, Robin Singh, Vijay Dahiya (wk), Sunil Joshi, Ajit Agarkar, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Virendra Sehwag and Dinesh Mongia.
