am here to answer your questions on the controversial issues concerning Ram
Janmabhoomi affair.
gajananj : what is really going on in
ayidhya
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : At Ayodhya preparations are going on
in full swing to prepare the stones and pillars to start the construction. We
have only to decide when it should start.
aaa : Sir, with the PM talking about a
compromise, will the temple ever be made?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : The compromise does not mean that we
are going to give up the issue of temple construction. It only means that we
will make our effort to persuade the Muslim leadership to appreciate the
reasonablness of our just demand.
ramrao : namaskaar dalmiaji, what is
the compromise that you people are working on with the Muslims? And what
progress after Syed Shahabuddin rejected you call for talks?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : Well, if they dont want to talk, we
are not forcing ourselves on them.
rani : dalmiya ji , I am really
desperate to know when will the construction of the ram mandir start and why
isn't the model photo on the internet so that we indians abroad can view it and
satisfy ourselves ?thankyou !
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : At the forthcoming Dharm Sansad during
Kumbh Mela some concrete decisions will be taken about starting the
construction of the Ram Temple. The Dharm Sansad is being held on January 19,20
and 21st fo this month. So please wait for a few days more to get some concrete
information.
SIDDHU : Sir will you obey Court

Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : It is a matter of religious faith
which cannot be decided by any court.

Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : We have a model that has been
stationed at the Kumbh Mela and the pilgrims there are having a look at it and
perform a puja.
SIDDHU : Sir what is yours stand on
other temples
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : First we have to sort out that temple
issue. And then we will take up the issue of other temples, that is Kashi and
Mathura.
deepak : Dalmiaji, all indians want to
solve the matter by talk only. what is you doing in this regard ?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : We are always prepared for a
meaningful talk but if the other side wants to use the language of force and
threat then no talk can really take place.
chiman : colud u say something about
security aspect around temple?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : well the Uttar Pradesh government has
provided proper security at the makeshift Ram Temple that exists at present at
Ayodhya.
SIDDHU : SIR WHAT WILL YOU DO TO
UPLIFT THE HINDUISM IN THIS NATION.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : That is what we are working for. And
the temple issues are one of the items. As religious sentiment is attached to
it, but the pseudo secular political parties stand in the way for the
upliftment of Hindus in this country.
deepak : Sir congress always says that
ram mandir matter used by VHP only to support BJP. what you say in this regard.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : This is wrong. Our objective is to
build the Ram Temple and in the process if any political party takes advantage
of it we cannot help.
rani : US is very diplomatic in its
approaches . You just cannot rely on any foreign country for anything . Just
because of the pitiful condition of india in some matters we have to rely upon
them. Therefore, I think that if you want to prove yourself one has to bring
all hindus together all over the world and fight for the self reliance,
independence and rights of the indian and india.Mr. Dalmia, Does RSS has any
issues to work in this direction. What do youthink about the foreign stand ? On
one hand yesterday on CNN USA personnel said they might come up with war with
china on the tibet issue and on the other hand they support china
diplomatically in war against india. Sir, what do u think our stand should be
inthis case ?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : These are political matters and we do
not indulge in politics. Ours is a socio-religious organization and we
concentrate on that. Once the Hindus become strong in the country their voice
will carry weight.
binod : Is it justified in doing
something what the moghals had done 400 years ago
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : It is a question of the honour of
Hindus. The invading Mughals destroyed the Hindu temples simply to humiliate
and insult the Hindus. Why should the Hindus not ask for undoing the injustice
done to them earlier?
deepak : NDA goverment issuing
passport to Huriyat. what you think in this matter.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : Present Indian government is trying to
solve the Kashmir issue by peaceful means. But we have to see the real
intentions of Pakistan. If the present efforts of the Indian government fail
the whole world will know who is the real culprit for this conflict.
allahoakbar : Sir, Are you avoiding my
questions? Please tell me: Would Lord Ram have liked a temple built over a
masjid destroyed by so much hatred and with bloodshed?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : It is not that the Hindus have
destroyed a Masjid. What was pulled down was a victory monument created by
Babar to humiliate and insult Hindus. Should the Hindus not try and redeem
their honour? It is the Muslims who should now apologize to the Hindus for the
wrong done by their fellow-religious people.
ravic : what are the VHP's Plans to
globalise Hinduism--- are you also looking for the conversion fields as what
the Christian missionaries are looking for.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : The Hindus do not believe in
converting people from other religions. They believe in giving equal to all
religions. We expect the others to follow the same principle.
rani : All the hindus over the world
fear for the families . How can one fight against these evil muslim forces with
this fear ? Sir, why doesn't RSS guide in this matter very well ?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : Once the Hindus stand united there
will be no fear. And no one will dare to attack them. This is what we are
trying to achieve.
mavindia : Mr Dalmiya how do U react
to the Lashkar-e-toeba's threat to maha kumb. mela
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : That is a matter for the government to
tackle. This is a part of the terrorist activities going on in the country at
the behest of Pakistan.
shriram : What is best solution
against evil plans of missionaries in india
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : We want to start many service projects
in the areas where missionaries are active. And also, bringing people back to
their original fold. The missionaries also know that VHP is closely watching
their activity and they will not have the free run that they had before.
Because of this there is so much hue and cry by the Christians in India.
pravin : Sir the Bjp govt is
backtracking on the issue of building temple on the disputed site. What do you
want to say on this?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : It is for BJP to answer.
challege : If u r family members had died
in riots of 1993 then u could have never thought of such decisions, but u just
sit and see the killings giving people new promise and hot blood ...
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : If you let the Muslims have the upper
hand all the time the violence against Hindus will continue to grow. It is only
to stop such tendancies that we are trying to strengthen the Hindu society. The
idea is to avoid bloodshed. If Hindu society is strong, no one will dare to
attack them and cause bloodshed.
shriram : Dalmiaji, don't you think
threat to us is more from so called "secular hindus" then any one
else
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : Yes. I agree with you. Therefore these
so called "secular Hindus" should be exposed and marginalized.
harish : mr.dalmia do you think that
your agressiveness in ram temple issue will pose some serious threat to
mr.vajpayee govt?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : This is a political question. And if
we have to choose between the two we will choose the Ram Temple. We really dont
wish to destabilize the present government, but not at the cost of Ram tempe
which is a strong sentimental issue for the Hindus.
jeetesh : Sir, I have heard that u are
planning for overnight temple installation...how much it is correct...
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : How can a temple be built overnight?
It will take several years to bring about a grand temple of Lord Ram at
Ayodhya.
siva : Dalmiyaji, I think that VHP
should annouce a date exactly one year from now and give the Muslim community
some time for negotiated settlement.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : If the Muslims are genuinely
interested in coming to a negotiated settlement based on justice and fairplay
our religious leaders would not mind giving them sometime. But the threatening
language that they are using at present does not augur well for such negotiated
settlement.
Pavak : Dalmiaji, Should Musharraf be
invited by the present Govt. for talks on Kashmir? How appropiate would it be
to invite someone solely responsible for our soldiers' death in Kargil and who
is behing the violence in this country?
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : There is no purpose in holding talks
with Pakistan leaders unless they stop all violent activities going on in India
at their instigation. If they really believe in peace they should stop all
these and create favourable conditions for talks. Shri Vajpayee went to Lahore
with this idea in mind and he was stabbed in the back in Kargil. So Pakistan
has to create conditions where it can be trusted.
Mr Vishnu Hari Dalmia : And now it
already one hour. And we cannot take any more questions. Maybe at some other
