The stars of 'Shaadi@Barbaadi.com'

Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat need no introduction. Swaroop Sampat, a former Miss India, was one of India's most popular TV stars in the 1980s, when television soap operas boomed in India. She was particularly noticed in the serial Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, an extremely hilarious serial to hit the idiot box in India.

Paresh Rawal is today considered one of India's finest actors, hailed for his performances that have the audiences in splits across the country. He is recognised as one of the few true comedians in India, but has also been acclaimed for his performance in the title role of Vallabhbhai Patel in the film Sardar.

Besides films and TV, this husband-wife duo hailing from Girgaum in south Bombay have regaled audiences with their theatre shows, in India and abroad.

Now, the couple are touring the United States with their new play Shaadi@Barbaadi.com, performing across the country from April 6 to May 13.
