Pandit Jasraj, Live!

World renowned classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj will combine with tabla player Vijay Ghate to perform for the 5H Program on 5 May in San Francisco and 12 May in Los Angeles.

Jasraj was to perform in San Francisco last year but an emergency bypass surgery forced him to cancel his show. This performance will he his maiden visit to California.

Ghate performed in California last year with Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Sivamani to raise funds for Chaurasia's Brindavan Gurukul.

To mark their visit to California, Pandit Jasraj will appear on The Rediff Chat on 2 May at 1800 EDT (3 May, 0330 IST). Talk with him about Indian classical music, life and the upcoming concerts.
