India aims for 20 kilometers per day road project

During a conference in New Delhi on Monday India's Road Transport and Highways Minister Kamal Nath announced a target of constructing 20 km of road per day in the country in order to fill in the road infrastructure deficit.

Nath also said that contracts for construction of 12,000 kilometers of road would be awarded by the end of this fiscal year.
