Indian city among world's leading hubs for start-ups

While nearly all high growth technology startups have historically emerged from no more than three to four startup ecosystems, namely Silicon Valley and Boston, this trend appears to have reached its end. Simultaneous with a global explosion of entrepreneurship, there has been a rise in new startup ecosystems around the world, and a new found maturity in others.
A new report from the Startup Genome, compiled in association with Telefonica Digital and researchers at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, rates and ranks the cities with the leading start-up ecosystems across the world.
Their research draws from their online interactive tool, Startup Compass, which collects benchmarking data from over 50,000 entrepreneurs and start-ups across the world.
Let's take a look at the world's leading cities for start-ups, including one from India.
