According to the Pepsico chief, the country's political establishment along with retired CEOs and C Suit executives can help author the blueprint for the country's future.
"It has got to focus on energy efficiency, you know, reducing energy dependence, it's got to focus on many, many aspects of what makes a great economy," she said.
Nooyi said that while developing such blue print could take two years, the government could implement short-term programmes to bring people back to work, which also required some creativity.
"The medical system in the United States is among the best in the world, if not the best. What if we were to make the United States a medical destination? That would bring a lot of people here because there are a lot of sick people around the world," she said.
